We conduct research and development on automatic translation technologies that enable multilingual communication by leveraging multimodal information, technologies that enable low-cost practical multilingual simultaneous interpretation, and technologies that enable multilingual support for Global South languages that are important for business using lightweight on-premises models. We also develop multilingual evaluation datasets and other resources needed to evaluate and improve these technologies.
